When our children grow up healthy, happy, and full of potential – able to learn, play, and dream freely – that is a gift we often take for granted. 💙
But in our community, there are children with special needs and developmental challenges whose journeys are far more difficult. They may struggle with communication, emotional regulation, or social interaction. Behind each child is a family navigating uncertainty, stress, and limited access to culturally appropriate support.
This year, CCACC Health Center is hosting the 2026 CCACC Health Charity Pickleball Cup 🏓 to raise funds for PROMISE Camp 🌱.
PROMISE Camp is a collaborative program led by the University of Maryland’s special education experts, CCACC Health Center, and Speech Garden. It provides structured social‑skills support for children with developmental delays or disabilities, along with caregiver workshops focused on advocacy, home‑based strategies, and navigating services. Through guided play, communication practice, emotional‑regulation activities, and hands‑on learning, children build confidence and connection in a safe, culturally responsive environment. 💛
