Overdose Response Program
CCACC is certified by the Maryland Department of Health, Center for Harm Reduction Services (2023–2025) to train people on how to respond to opioid overdoses. Our trained volunteers, including local high school and university students, lead this program.
Signs of an Opioid Overdose

Unresponsive (won’t wake up)
-
Slow, shallow, or stopped breathing
-
Lips/fingernails turning blue, gray, or white (depends on skin tone)
-
Very pale or grayish skin
-
Limp body
-
Loud snoring or gurgling sounds
-
Slow or stopped heartbeat
