Pan Asian: A Tradition of Volunteerism

Over 160,000 Asian Americans live in Montgomery County, making up about 15% of the population*. Many are low-income and without health insurance. Even though health services exist, language and cultural barriers often keep them from getting the care they need.

At CCACC Health, we believe good communication is the key to good care. When doctors and patients understand each other, treatment is safer, clearer, and more effective. That’s why our clinic is staffed by bilingual volunteer doctors and health workers who help bridge these gaps.

Since opening in 2003 as a small mobile clinic, Pan Asian Volunteer Health Clinic has grown into CCACC Health—a one-stop health center for the whole community. Through every step of this journey, we have stayed true to our tradition of volunteerism and our promise to provide compassionate, high-quality care to those in need.
