Free Preventive Labs for Montgomery Cares Patients in September 2024

May is CCACC Health Center's Free Preventive Care Month. In this month, we will offer free preventive blood work to those how have difficulty to access to health services.


Eligibilities:

  1. Free for uninsured, low income Montgomery County Residents who signed up for Montgomery Cares Program

  2. Free for those who has insurance that CCACC Health Center takes (Click here to check the list of insurances

  3. $30 for those who do not fit 1 and 2 criteria, who do not have a family doctor, or who have not undergone physical examinations in the past 12 months. You are welcome to use the services of this event.

Free or low-cost blood tests will be provided starting from August 26 to September 25, 2024.

Registered participants can come to CCACC Health Center for blood drawing services at the appointment time. You can also come to us to get the blood collection form and complete the blood test at any LabCorp sites before May 31st。


Preventive Blood tests include:

  1. Regular three screening: ▪ CBC - complete blood count, including red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets. ▪ CMP - a comprehensive metabolic panel, including liver function, kidney function, and blood sugar level; ▪ Lipid Panel-Blood lipids, including cholesterol classification, triglycerides, etc

  2. Hepatitis B Screening – Hepatitis B surface antigen and antibody, core antibody test.

  3. Hemoglobin A1c: Patients previously diagnosed with Diabetes or with family history

Medical consultation


For those who participate in the blood test after the health fair, all blood test reports will be mailed to patients after being interpreted by the doctor. If the test results indicate immediate attention is needed, clinic staff will contact the patient for further consultation. Uninsured individuals who enroll in the Montgomery Cares program will be able to have a free medical consultation.
