About the event
Caring for a loved one with dementia is a journey filled with love and challenges. While supporting a family member with memory loss is an act of deep devotion, navigating daily care, emotional stress, and available resources can often feel overwhelming. Knowing where to turn for guidance and relief is essential for maintaining both your loved one’s well-being and your own health.
Join us on Zoom for an educational health talk presented by Luxing (Kate) Lu, LCSW-C, Director of CCACC Health.
In this presentation, Kate will discuss practical strategies for managing dementia caregiving, lowering stress, and accessing vital local resources. She will also introduce the GUIDE Program (Program for Guiding an Improved Dementia Experience)—a specialized initiative designed to provide comprehensive care coordination, 24/7 support, and respite stipends to empower caregivers every step of the way.
