PROMISE Summer Camp 2025

CCACC Health Clinic and UMD are excited to provide weekly summer social skills support with board games, art, group games, and reading/story time led by trained community volunteers and university students. Each week, we will teach and practice new social skills like emotion identification/regulation, good sportsmanship, conversation skills, friendship skills, and executive functioning skills. 

What does the program involve?

We will provide weekly social skills support with board games, art, group games, and reading/story time led by trained UMD students. Each week, we will introduce and practice new social skills like emotion identification/regulation, good sportsmanship, conversation skills, friendship skills, and executive functioning skills. Participating families are required to (1) complete this pre survey, (2) attend all six weeks of camp, and (3) join a focus group after participating in the program.
