PROMISE Program
Promoting Meaningful Interaction and Social Engagement (PROMISE) is designed specifically for children with a wide range of disabilities, offering one-on-one support as needed, adaptive activities, and a neurodiversity affirming community.
Who We Are: A collaboration between the University of Maryland Special Education Program, and the Chinese Culture and Community Service Center. Led by highly trained undergraduate and graduate students in special education and related fields, with a speech-language pathologist, an occupational therapist, a board certified behavior analyst (BCBA), and a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) on staff. We also have CPR and First Aid certified staff.
