The CCACC Health Center (previously known as Pan Asian Volunteer Health Clinic PAVHC) is a charity clinic under Chinese Culture and Community Service Center (“CCACC”), a 501(C)(3) non-profit organization. The clinic meets the needs for primary health care, care management, mental health, health services referral, and other educational and outreach services to these disadvantaged residents. Since its inception in 2003 as a mobile clinic and during its steady growth into a fully-equipped medical center that now serves the entire county, Pan-Asian has undergone many changes. But what hasn't changed is our ongoing pledge to do our utmost to provide quality health care to anyone who needs it.
Since 2003, the Pan-Asian Volunteer Health Clinic(PAVHC) has been relied on volunteer physicians, pharmacist and volunteers from all works of life to contribute their time and professional service to make the following service possible to 5000 community members each year. We also need your financial support to pay for cost of healthcare that our less fortunate community members cannot afford:
• essential labs to diagnose health conditions, such as H.Pyloris, Hepatitis B, ect
• cancer screening (mammogram, pap smear, Fecal immunochemical test (FIT) ect.
• essential preventive service for low income patients with high deductible insurance plans
• other critical health services
Every year, we host a CCACC Health Center Charity Golf Cup to raise the fund needed to pay for this essential health cost. This year, our goal is to raise $20,000 to pay for labs and other preventive service for uninsured, low income patients of CCACC Health Center. Thank you to our volunteers and community members (namely, Mr. Charles Chen, Mr. MK Lee, Dr. Mark Li, Ms. Li-Fang Liu, Ms. Kate Lu, Dr. Xiaoping Shao, Ms. Chunying Zhao; Dr. Yaoyao Zhu; ) for donating these items for the auction.
