
The annual CCACC Health Fair will be held at CCACC headquarters on the afternoon of October 8th. The annual preventive blood work is a prelude to Fall Wellness Day. If you do not have insurance, do not have a family doctor, or for various reasons, community residents who have not undergone physical examinations in the past 12 service months (such as families who stranded in the United States), you are welcome to use the services of this event. Free blood tests will be provided starting from September 1 to September 30. All preventive blood tests are free this year.

Registered participants can come to CCACC Health Center for blood drawing services at the appointment time every Thursday. You can also come to us to get the blood collection form, and complete the blood test at any LabCorp sites before October 1st。
● Blood tests include: o Regular three screening: ▪ CBC - complete blood count, including red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets. ▪ CMP - a comprehensive metabolic panel, including liver function, kidney function and blood sugar level; ▪ Lipid Panel-Blood lipids, including cholesterol classification, triglycerides, etc. o Hepatitis B – Hepatitis B surface antigen and antibody, core antibody test. o Diabetic patients can have Hemoglobin A1c blood glucose test
● Medical consultation:
Participants who take part in the blood test can consult a doctor on the spot on the day of the physical examination. For those who participate in the blood test after the health fair, all blood test reports will be sent back to the patients after being interpreted by the doctor. If the test results are questionable, we will contact the patient for further consultation. Uninsured individuals who enroll in the Montgomery Cares program will be able to have a free medical consultation.
We will provide a large-scale health exhibition at the Chinese Culture and Community Service Center (9366 Gaither Road, Gaithersburg, MD 20877) on October 8th from 2 pm to 5pm. On the day, participants can have free preventive and disease screening services. We also invited nearly 30 community medical service groups to showcase their products and services. At the same time, we will provide this year's flu vaccine, COVID vaccine and Hepatitis B vaccine.
